Experiencing The World
I know i say it constantly, but i seriously cannot thank you guys all enough for all of the support. As most of you know, last week i went on a trip to Utah. It was the first vacation i've had in well over 4 years - and the first one i've taken by myself. The trip itself was beyond incredible - like truly indescribable in every way. Before my flight even landed i was amazed by the natural beauty of the landscape. Just a wondrous, flat stretch of land as far as the eye could see, with the Rocky Mountains jutting up, lightly snow capped to perfection. I made a group of new friends that are genuine, amazing people, and i built some lasting relationships over there. I linked up with an old friend who is an adventurer, and we hiked to the top of Mount Olympus. The whole climb to the top was a breathtaking view (also literally, i was out of breath most of the way). The most exciting part was when we were nearing the top, and had to rock climb without harnesses to reach the peak. Once we were there, i felt like i was on top of the world. I could see beyond the horizon, and all the countless mountaintops stretching across the land. There was almost total silence, and for a moment i just stood there taking in the fresh air, embracing absolute freedom i was experiencing. This trip has left me with a desire to continue exploring the world around me. I have never felt more fulfilled or at peace in my entire life - and i owe it to all of you. Thank you guys all so so much!Yours,-Kurt
Thank you for the support!
My experience has been wonderful so far. I can't thank you guys enough for all the support you've given me, and i've already built some pretty cool relationships along the way. I'm looking forward to what the future has in store!
So Far
Well guys, I'm really not that good at keeping a journal, but I'll try to stay up to date with this blog as best i can. I do want to start off saying this though;I've been a performer on this site for a week now, and I have to say, I was extremely nervous at first. But everyone ive met has been very kind to me, and I have a ton of fun in my chat room with everyone. Even met some pretty cool folks already. I'm really looking forward to this journey, and what else it has in store for me!
